About
Garrett Knuf is an incoming Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC), where he will join the ACME Lab to focus on integrated circuit (IC) design.
He is currently completing his B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his coursework, Garrett has worked on significant projects involving digital, mixed-signal, and analog circuit design, as well as embedded systems.
Garrett has interned at Cadence Design Systems where he contributed to the physical design of digital signal processing hardware accelerators. He also interned at Honeybee Robotics developing embedded flight software for NASA’s Dragonfly mission.
As an undergraduate researcher at Caltech Mixed-Mode Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab, he worked on ASIC digital architecture design and embedded software for wearable biomedical devices.
As part of Caltech’s SURF program, Garrett conducted research at NASA JPL in the Telecommunications Architecture and Research Division where he developed a testbed for validating models that characterize lunar terrain for NASA’s Artemis mission.
